Next up after The Country Girl is Jules Feiffer’s political and social satire Little Murders, followed by On the Waterfront by Budd Schulberg with Stan Silverman, the stage version of Schulberg’s screenplay for the 1954 movie classic about union violence and corruption on the New York docks. Playwright Christopher Durang then makes his first TACT appearance with Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You, a hard-nosed comedy that takes on religion, dogma, and the Catholic Church. We’ll close the season with Marathon ’33, the acclaimed experimental play by June Havoc, the real life "Baby June" of Gypsy, recreating her harrowing years as a marathon dancer, running July 27 through August 25.
